Inspired by tandems, if the distance between the front and back seats is sufficient, it can keep the two people in 1.5 meters

As I am not sure whether the bicycle chains and gears can support such a distance, we could also combine two monocycles with a beam

Face to face is better than face to back as for fostering social encounters, and in this way they can move both forward and backward while maintaining 1.5 meters distance.

If we change the beam into a circle, then it can contains more people and it is much easier to keep balance.

How can we connect with each other in a 1,5 meter distance society?

The problem with the current situation is that we do not have the furniture to fill the gaps of 1,5 meters. If we want to stay apart, the terraces, parks and streets will be empty. What if we make the furniture bigger, to fill the gap? Its like the ‘bijentafels’ in Amsterdam, giant furniture, to feel you’re still close to each other at the same table.

This gives the idea of this bench, where you can sit with two persons at the time. The mouth will stay on a 1,5 meter distance to each other, but you can connect with your feet. There is a low risk of infection here; feet are also touching the dirt on the streets, without people getting infected. The form of the bench creates cozyness, as it is easy to speak with each other. Also, it gives protection from the wind.

This is a multifunctional table whereas children, adults, and all age groups can use it. It has moveable sitting places to extent the sitting areas or to give the chance to another user to share it. Two up to four persons can use this table as a playing (rotating) object due to the wheels underneath it.

Inspired by the video of Italy balcony tennis show, I come up with the idea of this removable table tennis board. Each board will be half part of a whole table which can be made by the thin film to reduce the self-weight.

This board can be printed with different patterns to suit different types of games(billiards, poker, table football, and so on). Surrounding the board can also attach nets to store missing balls so the balls miss catch won’t fall to the ground and hurt others.
